It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of John “Cy” Cywinski, one of the founding partners of The ZLC Group CPAs. Cy passed away unexpectedly on September 3rd, leaving behind a profound void in our firm, the accounting and audit community, and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Cy was more than just a skilled and dedicated professional; he was a mentor, a leader, and a beloved friend to many. His unwavering commitment to excellence in his work and his deep care for his colleagues and clients defined his legacy. The outpouring of love and support from those who knew him is a testament to the impact he had on so many lives.

Our thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. His wife Karin, and his children, Avery, Nathan, and Quinn, will miss the man who was their biggest supporter and constant source of strength.

In response to requests from those wishing to honor Cy’s memory, a GoFundMe page has been established to support the education and career development of his children, causes that were close to Cy’s heart. Donations to this fund will help continue Cy’s vision for his family’s future.
